I'm afraid that I know nothing of the intricacies of converting Paintshop files to Photoshop files, especially when it comes to preserving the details of Dave's version. Perhaps your question would be better directed to Larry, @Tako_Kichi . . .

I've already done the conversion, I just wondered if I should upload it. On further reflection, maybe it could be swapped out for the one already uploaded? Maybe Larry could weigh in on that.

Andy can you upload the Photoshop files but make it clear in the description that they are the Photoshop ones and not the PSP ones (maybe provide a link to the PSP ones too) so that people have the choice of which files to use.

I have used Photoshop since v1.0 (when it was just a grayscale image editor for Macs only) and know how difficult it can be to open PSP files with it (it can't be done directly) so having the choice is important. I know PSP can open native Photoshop files directly (with some limitations) so it's a bit of a one-way street unfortunately.

As I found out yesterday, when I tried to open it in Photoshop!! I tried converting it in Irfanview but it 'lost' the layers, so I had to download & install a copy of PSP, resave the file in .psd format, then deinstall PSP. What larks.
