Most of you will be familiar with the models by David Molyneaux and the textures by Peter Watkins.
Both uploaded most of their work at Flightsim.com (or Britsim.com in case of Dave), but we all know what happened with this site. Therefore we intend to host their files here at the Sim-Outhouse. As both are deceased we can't ask them to upload their files here. Therefore you are kindly requested to upload the files you have.
Preferably in the original format in which they downloaded them, with the original readme file included.
Before uploading please check whether the file has not yet been uploaded by somebody else.
When files done by David Molyneaux are uploaded, the "Description" field should contain the text:
This file was uploaded at the Sim-Outhouse to preserve the legacy of David Molyneaux. Anyone who think he/she has claims on this file, is invited to contact the SOH staff.
The librarians will allocate files containing this sentence to David Molyneaux’s userid (Molyned) here at the Sim-Outhouse.
Its similar for the files by Peter Watkins. The files should preferably the originals, downloaded elsewhere, with the original readme included.
When these files are uploaded, the Description field should contain the text:
This file was uploaded at the Sim-Outhouse to preserve the legacy of Peter Watkins. These files are hosted at the Sim-Outhouse with the kind permission of Maria Watkins, widow of the late Peter Watkins.
Again, the librarians will allocate files containing this sentence to Peter Watkins userid (peterwatkins2) here at the Sim-Outhouse.
David Molyneaux was already in the process of moving his files to the SIm-Outhouse and all his Austers are already available in the library. For the files by Peter Watkins, permission to upload the files here at the Sim-Outhouse was kindly provided by his widow. Who was contacted by our member miggers.
