The Catalina X is finally released.

Just about finished downloading, thanks Anneke. Watch the payment process, two cards rejected asking for another card each time, the third accepted with all three charged. I am sure they will work that out.
 
They're always released when it's not payweek for me...:crybaby::crybaby::crybaby: This one definitely looks like a good one to get.



...now if Sibwings will just release the Birddog next week when I get paid I'll have 2 new aircraft to fly :icon_lol:

Just back from a first Flight with her - oh man, i am deep impressed - my congratulations to all the Development-Team - what a beautyfull plane :jump: and a more than acceptable price for it. I am a very happy Aerosoft-Customer. Thank you very much for a fantastic Catalina !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:ernae:

Download finished, McAfee blocked it, it detects a Trojan in the zip file.... :frown:

Hope it is just a false positive.
 
Oh yes, I love it! That cockpit is great, and the sound set is fantastic too, very much like I remember it from our flight from Lelystad, just make sure you use maximum volume, this baby is LOUD in real life!
And cruising at dusk with a black cat is just the best...

Okay, so here's my standard question. What are the FPS compared to, say, the Twin Otter? I'm expecting a slight drop based on Mathjis' predictions, but I want to be prepared for how much of a drop.

I'm getting 36 solid (locked at 36) everywhere so I can't really say there is too much of an impact. If I had to guess, it is a little more resource intensive than the Twotter, but not much.
 
can anyone compare the frames to either one the defult planes or say the a2a p47?? :engel016:
