What time do you get up in the morning?

I was just curious what time you guys get up in the morning. I notice that sometimes around 5:00am or so I see I am not the only early bird in here...lol. I have never been able to sleep in for some reason. Even on my day off or weekends off I always seem to wake up around 4:30 or 5:00am. I don't even use a alarm clock anymore. Now the wife can sleep in till 10 or 11 with now problems.Anybody got this can't sleep in problem other than me..Mike

Oh I could sleep, but then I feel like I've wasted the day. I really enjoy getting up early now. Back in my earlier years that was not the case.
I regularly get up at 4:30 and usually get on the computer and this site around 6:00am. On days off, we might sleep in to around 5:30 or 6:00.

I am a night owl myself. I tuck my baby in at 8:30 pm, sometimes I pass out after bedtime stories, (normally my nap) then wakes up at 1:30 am Eastcoast time, spends my time between watching early christian preachers on TV (BET), browsing the net, and SOH (becoming an SOH addict) I am up till 5am-depends, that is the time I need to wake her up and get her ready for school. I drop her off before 7am to her daycare. The rest of the day is mine to take a nap again; 11am time for me to go to work (works at home!)

In my younger days, I could sleep good, since my half a centurys birthday, things started to change, naps became my regular sleeping time.... sign of reaching the maturity age I guess! So Hey Moe, you are not alone! My clock is reversed tho!

Since my op last September I'm finding it hard to sleep much at all. Painkillers just make me drowsy...but not sleepy :(.
In an earlier life I was a milkman (for 13 years) and got by on 1 1/2 - 2 hours sleep a night before starting work @ 2.30am in order to travel an area of 200 miles a day, six days a week (In a truck, fortunately, and not a milkfloat :p:).

03:30 every weekday morning, get up, get showered throw some food down my neck and then off to catch the train ahhh the joys of commuting. Done it for 12 years so no need for an alarm clock.
Early mornings can be the best part of the day ;)

Hmm, I'm retired so I get up whenever I feel like it. Usually around 4:00am but has been as early as 2:45am. But then, I get to bed fairly early too. :icon_lol:

Well Mike , prior to retiring last December from Fairfield Medical Center , a local hospital twenty miles from where I live , I got up at 0415 every morning due to my shift starting at 0600 . I did this for the last ten years of the twenty-one years I worked there . My biological clock got so use to it that after I retired , getting up at 0530 to 0600 I consider sleeping in . :jump: Although you will rarely see me here at 0500 I do occassionally get up in the middle of the night and jump on SOH at 0130-0200 . How's that for stange . At least it gives me chance to chat with my UK friends due to time zone changes . One last thing , I , as you have mentioned , do not sleep in . I've always envied people who are able to .

Retired, too, but I'm up at 5:30 (6 on weekends). There's something special about early morning; it's my favorite time of day.:engel016:

Sometimes, I get up a lot earlier than I want to, and I've learned a lesson...never take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night...

which time? i can't remember having slept past 6 am in ages.
usually i'm up at 4, then again about 6, and then (because i'm a jobless immigrant) up again about 7:30/8:00. my first visit to SOH is usually while i eat breakfast, after reading the news..

Between 6 and 8am central. It varies because I drive truck over the road.If I'm not working it's go to bed around 2am up at noon, not a morning person.

Reminds me of the time when my ex-boss was spiked with laxatives and viagra at a company xmas party. His wife was non too pleased, nor were the hotel's cleaning staff, the following morning!!:kilroy::pop4:

I actually wish I had that problem. I can't NOT sleep in. I can get up early for many days in a row, but it's always a fight that I start losing, and I styart falling asleep throughout the day.

I'm usually up by 3:00am. It might be 3:30 to 4:00am before I get aboard SOH .... but not very late anyway.
