• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Can't Upload - Again

Mick

SOH-CM-2025
I just tried to upload a file (an update to the Gee Bee Model D) and found that I can't upload.

This happened before, right after the server crash, and it was fixed, but now it's happening again, exactly the same.

I click on the drop-down menu to bring up the upload page, where it should ask for my upload authorization password, and instead I get a page telling me that in order to upload I must be registered and signed in - even though I am registered and signed in.

Ickie has been working on the server upgrading us to a bigger hard drive. As a precaution the uploads and downloads were shut off. From time to time the forums have been down as well. I would hold off uploading right now.

Well, new files are appearing on the download list, but I still can't upload anything.

Also, this issue was resolved after the server crash, and is now reappearing for the second time.

Thanks!

OK, Duckie showed me a way around the glitch, but I still can't upload in the normal way, by selecting from the drop-down menu.

:icon_lol: Great! Just paying it forward. Thanks to Wild Bill Kelso via Henry!
