Not my cup of tea, but I can appreciate the artistry. Absolutely beautiful workmanship. . .very nicely done.
 
I'm a huge fan of small GAs.

the gallery images look very nice. Quick question tho: are those gauges custom or are they default? I ask because i really like the smooth gauges all the newer releases have these days, such as planes from RealAir and Carenado. Are these the same type of ultra-smooth gauges?

Has anyone tried this yet? Any reviews out there? If anyone has tried it, is it possible to alpha out the wheel pants?

Yes I did get it and it is a very nice flying aircraft, I started my flying days in one of these in 1959 in Lebanon Tenn. Very well done and fly's great :jump:
 
Got mine. :wiggle: A very nicely modeled aircraft. I just love the old straight-tailed Cessna's. The wheel pants on this bird cannot be alpha-ed, Monk. They just become extremely shiny.

I have the FSX version. A long time friend has a real 1957 172 (without wheel pants) that we go up in whenever possible. This one has that feel. Really enjoying it. I asked about a version without the wheel pants and they wrote back that they had been thinking about it. So fingers crossed. A paint kit would be nice as well.

My Cessna 172 fps are almost identical to what I get with the default Cessna 182. The only difference I'm seeing is that it takes just a wee bit longer for the textures to load for the Cessna 172.

I picked it up, very nicely done classic. I took a look at the textures FlyTexas and concluded that even if the alpha worked the nose strut ends at the nose pant(?), so you'd be missing some strut. Nevertheless, a very nice model. I emailed and they said a paint kit might be a possibility in the near future. :jump:
 
Nice, a classic Cessna. I wish I had more information on my Grandfathers 64 Cessna. I've always wanted to paint a scheme for it.

Normally Cessna's are not really my cup of tea but I happened to work with your brother Joe yesterday in Tualatin,OR and as conversation turned to airplanes and simulators he showed me the real airplane vs simulated pictures of this baby.

Very nicely done indeed....I might just have to make an exception to the rule and buy one of those high wing airplanes and see what the fuzz is all about :ernae:
