FSX night Vision Now Available

Sweet, seeing something this neat and original brings back old memories of trying to unlock the secretes of cfs1 cfs2 .etc<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>
 
The only thing i changed is
[GLOBAL]
UseEffect=0 (original 1)

otherwise it is default on
 
Looks like a cool effect, however I downloaded and installed and get nothing. I'm running an NVidia 9600GT vid card with the very latest drivers.
 
Well I am not responsible for the ENB series, I was reading some documentation and talking with Boris and found out about the Pallette and how it can be used to change the display of colors, Black-green and such so I created a Pallette and tweaked the ini file. It will work in GTA, FS9, FSX, and pretty much any program able to run enb series. If you have problems running it, I am sorry I cannot help as I know very little about the actual workings of the program as it runs with High Level Shaders for DX9, if you have problems running there is a dx10.dll that can be put in also, and that might work.

Currently updating my installer to use the "global=0" as I forgot about that. Thanks for the heads up. There will also be a "uninstaller" included now.


and yes You will go BLIND in the day time. just like with Real NV


Download updated with GLOBAL=0 so you will have to turn it on, and a Uninstaller is included.

well it can't be put into a window as it affects the whole screen. some day someone with much more knowledge of HLSL or something else will come along and take the work I've done here to the next level.

Heres a question. Does adding this effect delete the effect before for light bloom that used the enb series mod? I had changed some stuff on the light bloom file so will I have to change those again?

I just noticed that my Light Bloom I had been using for awhile now from when it was first introduced is now gone. Anyone know how I can get it back and have both of these?
 
Obviously you did not read the "I agree" section in big Bold Capital Letters that say "THIS WILL OVERWRITE YOUR RUSSIAN BLOOM!"

and there is a way, look for Enablepallette=1 enter 0 and you will have normal bloom, I only tweaked the Night time settings so you should be good for day.

if you want it back just enable pallette.


getting back your settings are not happening sorry!
 
Is it possible to have something that would allow you to switch between the normal russian bloom and the NVG bloom without having to mess with files outside of FSX when you are flying?
 
I've been looking into that, and so far im not sure. I know you can link a 2nd config file but im not sure what key that would use... quite possible to though. still fiddling, just wanted to get the thing out to open up the minds of the people
 
[LINESTRIKE]I started messing around with the .dll with trying to rename one alias for the d3d9 hoping that two different one will play nice together I just cant find where it tells it to alias to a key stroke to turn on and off.[/LINESTRIKE]

Alias key-strokes are defined in the .ini as key numbers

123 being F12.

the Alias is for a 2nd .ini file as the .dll is already in windows for directX 9 and was obtained from there. I tried having one .ini with the pallette and one without, and it seems to read the 2nd one over the first. but who knows....

Could you explain which default files do I need to backup before installing this?

EDIT: Never mind. Seems like it doesn't modify any default file. Great stuff.:ernae:

Where on the first page? The two web pages on your initial post don't work right. Is ther a different url for it somewhere?
