Afterburner effect on Kirk Olsson's F-16, help needed!!

Does anyone know how to get the afterburner on Kirk Olsson's F-16 to work with the throttle? It's currently only working when I activate the lights. I've had this working properly in the past, but can't for the life of me get it working now! :banghead:

Thanks in advance

Justyn

I think this may help

Planejunky;
I think this file may help you, it's by [SIZE=-1]Jan Rosenberg. The file name is ab_f16.zip and it can be found at flightsim.com. This ads a better afterburner effect, and it's controled by the throttle, not by the lights. It comes with a new light section for the aircraft.cfg file, which is in the readme.txt. Just follow the instructions and you're good to go :gameon:
Hope it helps

Thanks for that, I'd added that and was getting the same problem. However, I've installed Kirk's F-16D and found that the problem has been solved, so I'll copy and paste the panel across to the single seater too. I'll now try adding the file you mentioned as I agree it's a much better and more realistic effect.

Cheers RL :ernae:

You were cycling thru the cockpit vues to turn on the invisible gauge, weren't you? As I recall, you had to pop up the throttle quadrant before the guage, and throttle controlled afterburner would work.
