G.A.S. FSX Native Taylor J-2

Thats an accurate representation according to folks who have flown the J-2 and cubs in general, They literally levitate off the runway and if you have to much airspeed on final, float. You seem to have hit the correct balance. Glad you enjoy it

:medals::medals::medals: Just flew it for the 1st time in FSX SP2 Accel and it is very good at slow speeds just as stated in the quote. Plus I've seen a few and talked to pilots. A woman pilot gave the best talk and knew cubs including Super Cub STOLs. Looks great and fps is extra fine.

At high speed, well cub speed, I wonder if the 3 axis are too quick. But it could be me. My joystick has no special settings. I've seen cubs maneuver so perhaps a little adjustment may not be right. Any other opinions would be nice. I'll change realism from max to mid to lowest and see if anything shows up.

I agree on the prop.
Hope to hear others opinions.

Get BB's J-3 prop wily.

She's a beaut SPAD. :ernae:

Funny you should mention the propwash SPAD. After I took her up, I said let me see if Bob's J-3 wash will work and it did. No need for me to post a screenie, Roger took care of that. I was going to post about using Bob's J-3 wash, but you guys are just too quick on the draw! :d

Got it, I see it was in the section called "other". :medals:
:costumes: well, that makes me stupid as a snoozing sheep :costumes:

BB is Banana Bob, I note, thanks to all for the help. :applause: :ernae:

it's pretty vool that we can get freebies of this quality. if someone had told me of that before i started simming i would have thought they were full of... well, you know :d

thanks for the hook up :ernae:

oh no Paul - thank-you !

its an absolutely delightful model - and it captures the spirit of GA flight quite nicely...

great job!

Any chance of an FS9 version?

First, will there be an fs9 version of the j2 for those of us with older systems that won't run fsx well? Second, anyone know of a model of Cole's Great Lakes NC304Y or Stanley Segalla's piper pa-11 for flight sim?

Just did my first flight of this final release. The flight handling is remarkable as it feels just right at all speeds. Fps is great. I like the extra touches of the start up engine smoke colors of black and light gray.

The sounds are excellent especially start up and shut down. The animation of the aerilons is great from the VC or in locked spot. BananaBob's prop is fine.

A reel tryummf, (maybe 2 fs?)

I may have missed something but I'd like to make two paints for personal use. Do I need a paint kit of this a/c?
