Just when I thought I had it all right where I wanted it.......
Then along comes a guy in need of an Antec gaming chassis, which I just happened to have, and as payment he offers me, of all things, a GeForce 9800GTX from BFG Tech, one of which I just happened to already have......
Now, I find myself thrown into the wonderful world of SLI gaming graphics.....and once again, I must attack the scenery and texture budget .xml files in an effort to justify the additional electicity used by the second graphics adapter.....
What an amazing difference the second 9800GTX made....I am using the SLI 16X AA instead of the SLI performance options in the nVidia control panel....and it is just incredible. The level of detail we tweaked the .xml files to were making one severely overclocked 9800GTX struggle to maintain 25 to 30 fps.....now the pair of 9800GTXs runs the same settings at a steady 65 to 80 fps without any overclocking at all.....so once again, there is room to grow.....and here we go again!!!

MAW & OFF-Phase2 are no longer downloadable; MAW cause the server is down and OFF-P2 cause the developers decided to make a new, not-freeware, Phase 3.
I have both expansions and if You PM me your home address I shall burn a couple of dvd's with those files for You.
