Tailwind Released!

Now all you need is a FMC and you're good to go

Looks fun:jump:.

C-FRDF paint is now uploaded to SOH library.

Blue interior and icebox full of Dr Pepper:icon_lol: I experimented on doing fur seats, but it didn't look right because of the reflective/shiny nature of the seats.

Pilot seems to be a fan of a certain winged creature:kilroy:

LOLOL... I love it! Great job on the Dr. Pepper and Batman T-Shirt.

:d

Just trying out something. Could not resist it. Hope Bill doesn't mind. No idea if a VC version is possible though.

Hey Wombat,

Very nice improvement there.

I could see an object placed in a future model being possible in the future if you can wait a while. There will also be a trim gauge and parking brake installed, as well as a 'secret' new model variant of the Tailwind.

But.. I cannot offer that gauge as I do not own it. You (the people) would have to aquire that and install it. I can only provide the 3D object that it would inhabit on the VC panel.

Bill

I have not made such modern changes as Wombat, but did add some RXP and gauges, including the Garmin 430 and Freindly Panel's Transponder and Bendix AP. Bill is known for his quirky AP's :icon_lol:

Secret '3D' object? You talking about that STEC-30 I saw in the manual? :kilroy:

Hey Bill, have you made any headway figuring out the sound issue?

I'm on my way to Tongass from Ohio, not flying the Tailwind on my trip, but something a bit quicker :running:. When I arrive, I'll surely be checking out the W-8/10's bush flying skills, while also pulling out my RA Amphib Scout as well. Bill's 'yeller' and Bushpilots new paint schemes should blend right in.

I cannot talk about it yet. I still have to get the new updated Kodiak and Epic finished before I can finish the 'something' for the Tailwind package.

Hey Bill, have you made any headway figuring out the sound issue?

I have the great Sound guru himself, Aaron Swindel working on that. I couldnt figure it out, so I went to the top. He says its almost finished and would be a couple of more days. (Just got the email, coincidently, about 5 min's ago).

It will be nice to have that blip gone and the flat plateau sound area gone also..

Bill

Good news about the sound Bill, it will make landings much easier when I can control the throttle 'by ear'.

Beautiful paints. Would anyone be interested in doing a Fictional Civil Air Patrol scheme paint please.

Very nice integration in VC. I'm still learning how to do that.

Secret variant... hmmm...

Tailwind W8 "Lightning Bolt" fictional scheme uploaded to SOH library:ernae: This was inspired by that youtube video posted here the other day.

Comes with matching interior, matching pilot, matching key chain and matching soft drink

I don't think I've ever had so much fun painting an aircraft before. The interior paintkit brings a whole new dimension of fun to painting:applause::applause:

Hey, I like that lightnin' bolt job! Very slick, and quite fitting to the Tailwind. I'm getting that one today. Thanks, Pekka!

Pekka,

That is awesome!

I am downloading it now.

Great job on it. Love the 50's style font on the cowling.

Brilliant!

Zippy is looking quite good. Love that paint scheme.

That is too funny, the Bannana Bob Steak House restaurant chains, lolol..

Fantastic Pekka, (just saw your newest).....will be downloading and trying her out around Tongass somewhere.

Goodness gracious; very nice Bob, downloading now

I believe I must have 17-18 new repaints installed since the Tailwind has been released. Is this a record? :icon_lol:

Indeed - brilliant.
I just came home, saw it and donloaded it the same moment.
Now I'll take a short hop befor midnight.
