Ship error

Looks like a corrupt wake file...

Not sure if its called wake or what ....

From where I don't know..be it the carrier file or the boat traffic file...

I will look and see what I can see...

Hum, our Navy ships have a WX controller spawning Water spouts. lolol I agree with Harleyman.

I know that some ground fx from an earlier sim (Fs8 or 9) show that effect. Have you overwritten any FsX fx with fx from a port-over?

a case of the vapors?

I am experiencing the same problem, it's only the destroyers that do this for me,

Otherwise its -
Sliders !!!

The specific models are actually any and all destroyers.
The big ships i.e., carriers oilers are just ducky. The CV6 enterprise
has wake that is located on the bow end, another issue.
But the "Tin cans" all have this smoke trail. If I fly thru it, it temporarly dissapears then later it will come back. :isadizzy:

Hi Folks

Are you guys using precompiled ship/flightplans ?
Or Lamont Clarke's java applet for dynamic routeing ?

If the latter,
please remember the java applet
adds an additional burden to your processing load.

Please also remember
it's the total processing load,
not the individual vessel's processing load.

Hanimichal -
It's sliders,
further confirmed by the gaps displayed between your wake iterations.

tipton123 -
It's sliders extra-left
as you've the additional load of rendering FS9 models, (e.g. Mispillion).
IIRC Mispillion uses a different wake from the FSX default vessels.

Well, I know you dont want to hear this, but I think they look cool!

Something from a moon from Saturn 'side effect' perhaps. :d

LOL

What intrigues me is the screenie in post 6.

That one wake effect
displaying both behind and in-front of clouds,
(below & right of the p in "Ship" annotation).

Again I think due to high slider settings.
Just caught the moment.
