Rob Robertson just gifted the world of FSX with a DH Sea Venom for FSX Acceleration -- in FAA and RAN paints - its over at the Pond now :)

Congratulations Sir, you've just beaten my otherwise excellent "interneting" skills, since I have no idea where in the corners of the world wide web this thing got uploaded to.

I've tried googling "FSX Sea Venom", "Rob Robertson" and a combination of those as well as assuming that "the Pond" is a nickname for www.mudpond.org, yet I turned up empty handed every time.

A direct link or way more precise information could have worked wonders... Check Bob Jane Catalogue on Catalogue AU.

- Edit: Too slow.

- Edit²: Thanks, Ferry!

Gentlemen.
(And I use the term loosely ;) )
I was remiss...... usually I add the link after my signature - but I was at work minding MD80s and , after having several problems recently with the site due to a server crash about a week ago - we had finally got everything working again and could publish Robs Sea venom.

for those of you who don't know -- www.classicbritishfiles.com AKA "The Pond" due to our benefactors screen name "The Happy Otter" Rob English.

SO there you have it -- come visit -- browse the Library - its back up and running and for those of you who like old FAA aircraft -- there are more coming.

Also Dave Molyneaux, Keith Paine and Company have almost finished with the RAE Llanbedr project which includes the Jindivik in both flyable and AI configuration - numerous repaints for various AI aircraft and new scenery
specifically for JF .

Oh yes Bjorn and Matt
ALL freeware - the closest we get to payware is doing repaints for some payware - and of course passing the hat occasionally to keep Mr English
in Beer and Ciggies ;)

Thanks putting up with my over enthusiastic PR job -- I just get to manage the Pond and play with all those wonderful Beta toys.....Look for More Austers from Mr Molyneuax in the near future - although they are Fs9 they post over very well to "The Dark Side"

Cheers now

Leif

....a straight DH Venom?

Kent
I believe the UKMIL group is working on the Single seat Venom

The Sea Venom will be an on going project -- I know there is some talk
of upgrading the wingfold for it and a Shuttle and Strop so it may
be launched from some of the excellent FSX carriers.

Lars Fors has a request in to RobR to modify the FAW21 to a Swedish Air Force FB Venom for the
historical group he is with.

Leif:isadizzy:

RobR may beat me around the head when he comes back from his holidays (He scarpered as soon as the
Venom was released!!!. But there is a twin engined FAA aircraft with a fairly complicated wing fold sequence
in the offing for the Dark Side.

I was at work minding MD80s

That's too cool. You're off the hook. :d

I know CBF...as long as it's referred to correctly. :engel016:
