Iris F-16D Released

just to let you guys know am working on some ace combat style schemes on the D now, if you'd like an ace combat style HD paint let me know of markings, nation etc and i'll fix it up :wiggle:

the pach fix the afterburn and some more stuff i dont really know what else...
 
Do these repaints work with SP2/Accel?

I tried the installation and it totally hosed my F-16D's. I had to uninstall.

i have SP2 only with no Accel but still it is supposed to work....
did u read the "read me" inside the installer?

I did.

I even "installed" the patches located in the IRIS folder. (although my F-16 was performing fine without the need for a patch).

I ran the textures installer program and used the suggested direction to the FSX folder. No Joy there....

I then did a manual install. I was able to finally bring up the IAF versions (which are listed under Lockheed-Martin rather than IRIS Pro series).

However, when I viewed then in the preview window the textures were all "chrome". No cammo schemes. Even the cockpit textures were "chrome".

I tried to fly this all chrome airplane and the AB no longer worked.

I tried to do all I could think of to get the textures to appear and fix the AB. I fianlly gave up and uninstalled the IAF changes and reverted back to the original IRIS config I had.

i am really sorry about that!
it appears that the folders that contain the repaints are installed in the main folder of FSX (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X).
so, before u install the package u need to choose manual to the folder (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes)
and then proceed with the install, and then everything supposed to work perfectly...
