I tried using a denim texture for the pants and another weave texture for the shirt and discovered that that's not doable, lol, The textures are stretched and so it just stretches the weave pattern into a stripe, lol. I used a carpet texture for the interior of one of the cockpits and that actually works pretty well, because once again the texture is stretched and so it gives it a pretty acceptable texture.
What Daube was talking about (darkening the area under the rudder pedals) might be a trial and error thing since one texture does the entire interior, so you'd have to figure out what section of that one texture falls in the area you want to darken then changed the "brightness and contrast" settings for that specific spot on the texture. It may or may not be possible given the way the texture is stretched anyway, darkening just one section could find it stretched into other areas that you don't want darkened.
