• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

Hey brother baleout and all the other ace flyers,
Great to get into your Games again this morning, abiet a trifle late. Ice and Starcrow between them were carving me up quite nicely.

Thought today was going to be an odd one, lashing with heavy rain this morning and 1pm, got a call from wife on her way back from Church, Car made a large Twang !! sound then bang-bang-bag----Stop!!! Yes!! The cam belt had snapped and Motor repair mans estimate is £1000. ( $ 1600 ) ow Ow Ow !!!

Sorry to hear about the Mrs' cam belt. What kind of car? How long did it last? It should be on a maintenence schedule. Naughty, naughty!

Yes, quite right too. :kilroy: :173go1: Car:- Ford Escort estate, cam belt was on for about 20,000 miles, but that was over 8 yrs, as car ain't used much. Funnily enough, had talked with repair man and car was organised for Belt change this week. He reckons some valves will be bent, but she should be OK, he does em regularly. LOL. Will I be sent to the front with Schultz ?????
