Hey brother baleout and all the other ace flyers,
Great to get into your Games again this morning, abiet a trifle late. Ice and Starcrow between them were carving me up quite nicely.
Thought today was going to be an odd one, lashing with heavy rain this morning and 1pm, got a call from wife on her way back from Church, Car made a large Twang !! sound then bang-bang-bag----Stop!!! Yes!! The cam belt had snapped and Motor repair mans estimate is £1000. ( $ 1600 ) ow Ow Ow !!!

Yes, quite right too. 
Car:- Ford Escort estate, cam belt was on for about 20,000 miles, but that was over 8 yrs, as car ain't used much. Funnily enough, had talked with repair man and car was organised for Belt change this week. He reckons some valves will be bent, but she should be OK, he does em regularly. LOL. Will I be sent to the front with Schultz ?????
