Here is what I found this morning on the AlphaSim WebSite with
my comments :

The Sepecat Jaguar project is in the final testing phase, the first release (the GR1 package) is likely to be in January '10.

Comment : Better after Christmas than incomplete.

This will be FS9 only, although a later FSX conversion now looks likely (a free update).

Comment : Nice

There will be subsequent packages for the GR1A, GR1B, GR3 and Indian AF versions, available as low-cost Expansion Packs to the GR1 version.

Comment : Very Nice

The French Jaguar package will be native FSX as will the 2-seater package. These will be standalone packages.


Comment : Why not having used the same approach than the GR1 ?

Final comments :

I will buy the Gr1 complete serie for FS9
I would have bought French Jaguars and Twin Seaters
if they were FS9. Too bad.

I agree. I was looking forward to the two seater. Too bad indeed. To tell you the truth, does not make much sense to me.

Speaking of Alphasim releases..... Has anyone heard anything about the Chinook? Are they still planning to make the wonderful Wokka? Knowing my luck, it will be an FSX only aircraft as well if they do. I have been waiting for that one for quite some time.
 
wow...bummer on the 2 seater.....that was my main reason for looking forward to this release. Now I will have second thoughts of even buying it especially with UKMIL's awesome Jag out here.

....100% agree with slambam here....the 2 seater was the draw for me....definitely a bummer.:pop4:

AlphaSim Jaguar was announced for january 10th 2010.

If the current delay is to open the French Jaguar and Twin Seater Jaguar packages to both
FS9 and FSX, I have absolutely no problem for any delay !
