Hi Everyone~

Just reaching out and seeking a small favor from you. This no-kill shelter is in desperate needs of funds. They mainly rescue Golden Retrievers, but the owners, Chip and Carol, will not turn away any dog. The shelter is in Capon Bridge, WV. Hubby and I actually adopted our Golden, Chandler, from them. They do a fantastic job and are true animal lovers. I know they don't have much money...so, I'm hoping, that you guys will take just a minute and go vote for them in this Shelter Challenge. I looked at the voting results. The WV rescue isn't even in the running, BUT with all the good folks on this site.....if we voted once per day....who know's? Maybe it might make the difference.

I just saved the site to my favorites...and will vote every morning.

There are shelters all over this country that need help. If everyone helps the shelter in their local area, things can get better.
P.S. Spaying and nuetering also help! (And I don't mean just the animals....)

I vote 4 today, I use Mom's computer and then I use my computer, I vote using Safari, then I use Opera. I have to go now. From Hannah. Bye. :wavey:
 
I'm in....


Rose and I used to Rescue German Shepherds... Had 10 at one time. You did NOT want my dog food bill.

Hansel was 135 pounds and Duke was 150. Big GSD's. They ate everything that didn't try to eat them first.

Down to just 3 now...

Done! Anything to help out our four legged friends

My wife had a local organization capture all the feral cats around her office and the office donated $150 to have them spayed /nutered and all of their shots. They then tip the ear and release them back to where they were captured. No more kittens and healthy cats!! The tipped ear lets the cat folks know they have been taken care of.
This same organization goes out every night at known feral cat locations and feeds them-

BTW-In that same capture they got 7 kittens about 4 weeks old that we took to our local vet and got all of them homes. If you can get a kitten that is real young they will not have the feral insticts in them
