Islander Repaints

AAC and RAF repaints

Yet again I'm very late to the party  but here are two more repaints in the colours of 651 Sqn Army Air Corps and the RAF Northolt Station Flight.

They are of course the wrong models of these repaints (I wish there was a BN-2T included, but even then it wouldn't be quite right)! I'm normally a bit of a perfectionist, but I'm prepared to be flexible with this one and I hope you guys will be too...

So here goes.... (they should also be up at Flightsim.com shortly...)

UK HMCA could use a paint representation.
Or here is a few of Sifton Air up here in the Arctic. There basically the only operator of the BN-2 north of the 60th. If your interested in paint one for us Canadians, I can get more pics Saturday from the FBO at YZF.

Tim, I think Jim Hodkinson over at the Flight 1 Simforums is up to his armpits in the Sifton Air repaint as we speak.:salute:

Andy,

The Flightsim d/l don't contain any aircraft.cfg file entries to add the aircraft to the selection list. Dunno about the others.

Hi Snave,

Bugger, you're right!!:censored: Its not just the ones at FlightSim, all the others are like that too! :censored:

I'm amazed no one else has bothered to tell me by now.

Here is how they should read. I'll edit all the downloads I can.

I think the side profile is different- the nose cone looks like it has been replaced by a radome, like the BN-2T's that fly in the UK for the forces etc.

Cool schemes everyone.

I'll see what I can negotiate with Jim, he is doing the Sifton Air livery as a special request for me, I'll ask him if its ok to put it up elsewhere.

Sounds great. We dont have much representation in FSX up in the Arctic. although im enjoying your Buffalo Twotter paint:salute:

Did someone added the Shockwave 3D-Lights to the Islander ? - would be nice to have the 3D-Lights on her - love that Plane a lot .......
