The Royal Netherland 2010 Open Days will be presented LIVE ON INTERNET next week end.



The 2010 RNLAF Open Days will be held at Gilze-Rijen Air Base on 18 and 19 June. The gates

are open on both days from 08.00 hrs on. The air show will start at 09.00 hrs and end at approximately 17.00 hrs.


The Patrouille de France, the Red Arrows, the Turkish Stars will be treating the public to spectacular flight displays.



And in addition to this, the solo teams will also be putting on a wonderful show.



This year, for example, there will be a Spanish F-18, a British Typhoon and

a Belgian F-16 taking part.


Naturally, the Royal Netherlands Air Force’s F-16 Solo Display Team will also be present,

and the Apache Solo Display Team will be back again after a 5-year absence.



The Apache demo team will be demonstrating on its home base of Gilze-Rijen the

capabilities of this combat helicopter, such as a spectacular full loop.


One of the highlights of the Royal Netherlands Air Force Open Days on 18 and 19 June is an extensive airshow. This show can be followed LIVE ON INTERNET from the page below on both days from 09.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs ( Netherland Time )

For Eastern Standard Time readers like me it is from 03:00 hrs to 11:00 hrs.

The Reds have just performed at a show from my local airfield, RAF Manston in Kent, South east England, its not unusual for the team to do 2 or 3 displays a day esp in the summer months, as the crow flies, Gilze-Rijen is probably 30 mins flying time from Manston.

I thought your Apache shots were especially impressive, and isn't that a brilliant colour scheme on the Spanish Colibri's! Begging for a quality FS repaint.
