For those who didn't get it last time, this is a good opportunity to get the C-130 Hercules. You want the Pro Pack, because it's the same price as the base pack, AND includes both of the extras.
 
Id like to get the BUFF and have her sit until the cockpit is done. I will have to think about this.
 
I was thinking about getting the 727; downloaded the demo to get an impression, most importantly about the expected performance impact; opened the model in ModelConverterX; checked the model properties; seen over 1000 draw calls for the interior model (10 times more than a default model); got a minor heart attack; postponed purchase to "never".
 
I got the C130 last time but I hardly ever fly it... too many glaring fde and sound issues...

I don't think I'll buy anything this time around. Maybe once their B52 gets a proper VC I will though

Could you tell, how high the multipliers are with other addon aircraft?

Do you think it could be our dratted Creative X-Fi sound cards? More helpfully: I renamed my sound folder to original.sound and copied over the sound folder from this:

I haven't done this myself, and the discount doesn't help BUT if you're minded to get this, you can alias another plane's VC -- search this forum for instructions -- and use these freeware sounds:

It's actually not bad on the frames. I have an old dual core e6600 processor and nVidia 7900GS card and the CS 727 poses no problems. The VC takes a bit longer to load sometimes but not that slow.

As payware, I only have Wilco's E-Jets which are good modelwise (~130 draw calls), but whose gauges eat away a few FPS.

For freeware, Piglet's stuff is anywhere from 60 to 100 draw calls.
 
Is there a pack with the 757 that includes the 200, 300 and freighter (much like the C-130 one)? Can't see one anywhere, but wouldn't want to get a single pack without knowing for sure!
 
Ive been wanting to get the C-130, i guess ill buy it. I was going to buy the 727 till i realized there was no all-in-one pack. Looks like ill save up for that one later.

Ted, what is it that disappoints you about the C130? I am curious because I am just the opposite, I love the Cptn Sim C130, and don't care for the 727. I am biased towards the 130 in real life it is one of my two fav aircraft (along side the DC3) and I have never been a fan of Tubes anyway. I do like the Cptn Sim Models I have tried, - I don't own the 727 I have tried it on a friends system, so my experience with it is limited.
