Etendard IVM BETA is released

I just made some tests flights with that plane, and it's really one of the best FS addon I've ever seen. It's a joy to fly and to look at.
T'as fait un boulot exceptionnel, Sylvain, merci a toi et a ceux qui ont participe a ton projet :ernae:

Also, I took the opportunity to download the Clemenceau carrier. The officer animation during launch is extremely cool. :jump:

Very nice model..thanks a lot :jump:

Took me four tries to get the aircraft down on the deck - quite a bit smaller than a Nimitz Class carrier! Now I need to work out how to do the catapult launch.

I think it may be the wing tips that are causing the object collision on the Clem, I fired the cat with minimal fuel pulled up hard and still an object collision, also the LSO is not working, still really happy with this wonderful aircraft but for the final release this must be sorted and I'm working on it myself to see what I can do, any results will be emailed to you Sylvain! :salute:

sparouty, only looked at on Ark Royal and Victorious so far as I do'nt have the Clem.

No problems with holdback disengaging or object collisions to date.

Very nice, well done.

Hello Cyrrus N210MS

Can you explain to me in detail ( step by step ) how you can
place or locate the Clémenceau Aircraft Carrier on a specific spot
of the planet on FSX ?

Thanks in advance

Dear Sylvain,

First of all, this is AMAZING! I love it!

2- I didn't add the wings into the VC model... I was wondering to not increase to much my number of polys, but will certainly add them later with the next release...

I totally agree. It would be great to have the wings included in the VC. When using TrackIR their absence is notable. I like to use the wing as a reference when flying circuits.

Also, a tiny point... in the VC again, is it possible to improve the appearance of the bolts around the canopy frame a little? The guages and everything else have supurb detail, but the canopy frame less so. Perhaps bump mapping could help here also?

Many thanks again and well done!

Andy

You need to download and install a freeware utility nammed "AICarriers 2".
Then the automatic installer of the Clemenceau will modify the AICarriers configuration so that it appears in the list of carriers.
You've never used AICarriers before ?

Had this downloaded last night and a quick few traps and cats on the clem, very nice plane to fly!!!

What is the chance of this being rebuilt into or a new build for the Super Entendard version?

Hint: Any Mirage (III, 5, 50) soundset will do. The Étendard and the Mirages share the same powerplant (SNECMA Atar).

Fantastic aircraft! :applause:
