Will we ever see a decent F-111 for FSX ? .

It is a shame that the "F" is only a stopgap measure until the JSF comes on line. I'm rather partial to a Hornet, ever since the first time I sat in, climbed over and oggled A21-101 way back when. :isadizzy:

Cheers,
Al

I keep hearing that: The F-22 and JSF are completely different aircraft with different capabilities brought to the table. Noone envisions the F-22 as a stopgap. The F-22 is pure @#$^s-out interceptor, and could mop the decks with pieces of F-35. The JSF is the new multi-role fighter. The actual flight performance and envelope of the JSF is roughly on par with the F-16. Bringing on the JSF is more about modern and efficient warfare with fresh unbeat aircraft than gross performance.

err, no, the "F" being the "Stopgap FA/18F". Sorry to have confused you.

As the op of this thread i find it disappointing that it has drifted a long way off topic guys.

This was a thread started to ask about the F-111 Strike aircraft, not the Super Hornet, F-22, JSF or whatever else has crept into this thread.

I, as the original poster have asked for this thread to looked at and locked if deemed necessary .

The original point of this thread has been lost a long time ago.

Cheers.

I like the way it lands.. But to be honest, i miss our Australian pilot friend and the work we did together..

Looks good inside, i wonder if they know that they have modeled incorrect wings for the RAAF version.

All RAAF F-111 aircraft have the longer span wings, wrong air intakes as well.

The livery they are showing on the RAAF bird belongs to A8-131 a C variant.

All C variants feature a Triple plow 1 air intake.

Little details like this count imho.

Cheers.
