well i don't know... depends what your 'Cargo' is, knowing Obio i wouldn't be surprised if it was a brewery owner, and obio was after the keys to the brewery (explains the inverted torture method)...

another odd one i like flying is Jens' Comets... such a beautiful shape...
 
Jens' Comets are pretty good, but IMHO David Maltby's are much better. Although I've yet to get the autopilot sorted out on it.

My goodness...I didn't realise there were so many A380 offerings!

Yonks ago, I was looking for a good A380, and bought the Overland series (you couldn't buy singletons)ALL the Boeings, ALL the Airbuses. I'm still happy with their A380 although the PA model is really good - just needs a VC and it will be a tough choice.

My all-time favourite jetliner has to be the (then) POSKY B777, because of the VC, and unmatched external model.
Why then, has it proven so difficult to get the FDE right?
Every time I download a repaint, there is yet another FDE update, now v9 I think.
I've just given up on it.
 
I generally lean towards HJG Boeings. Mainly because of all the variations Civilian as well as Military. If you spent any amount of time in the Air Force from 60s to today you have flown, boarded, maintained or been touched in some way by a Boeing aircraft. It's just my opinion but,there are very few aircraft that can compare with the history of the Boeing 707. Many a passenger has boarded her, and millions of tons of cargo have passed through her hold. In war and peace you would be hard pressed to find a military pilot that has not at least one time, thanked the Lord for that flying gas station. Many a TDY or Combat deployment has started in the hold of a 707/KC135 and many have ended with the return of loved ones in happiness or in sorrow. I spent 30 years in the Air Force, My first flight on an aircraft of any kind was a hop from Ellinton Field in Houston TX on a KC135 to Kinchloe AFB Michigan, my first duty asignment, my last flight on a KC135 was leaving Prince Saultan AFB Saudi Arabia, heading to Germany for the start of a long trip home. That Boeing was a good friend it took me where I was needed and always brought me home safe.
 
How About the Little Ones?

For some reason, I've always had a fondness for the smallest airliners, the 19 seat planes. Viking Air has put the Twin Otter back in production, so that's the only one I know of being built now. PAD has a pretty good Twin Otter, floats and wheels.

The dominant 19 seater today seems to be the Beech 1900D, and PAD has a very good one. I enjoy flying that one. I also fly Rick Piper's HS748, a plane used in the Canadian Arctic because of its flexible freight/pax configuration. Of course, there's Milton's DHC7 which can shoehorn into any runway. Both of those planes are high quality models.

The DHC Dash 8 by PAD is good, and the Q400 version has a full cabin, but watch that you don't scrape the tail on rotation! POSKY's CRJs are great, and the EMB 195 by PAD is a more modern version of the regional jet. I just like the looks of it.

When I want to go really small, I fly the payware FSD Piper Navajo. Air taxi, charter...the aircraft is top notch and worth the money.
 
I think I am going to paint up a couple Posky CRJ's pretty soon. I have heard they were nice but have never flown them. (at least I don't think I have) :icon_eek:
 
One that hasn't been mentioned yet that I like a lot is the stylish Sud Caravelle from AFG/HJG.

Another POSKY bird that I'd rate as good as their B777: the ERJ135...superb external model and texturing, great VC, and easy to fly. A real little airliner.

I also agree, this is another great design , but lacking on a suitable range of textures.

as much as i love this POSKY bird , i enjoy a lot more their CRJ . it has been among my favorite planes since FS2002 .

Besides all tweaking, overclocking, obeying procedure charts and longing for the highest possible "accuracy", it's the fun that brings us all together!
And plain white paints can be fun too!
I did that for a VA some weeks ago:

Although I'm a "piston head" by heart, this Tinmouse is a beautiful hairdryer for sure!
