Weird, I always thought the RoI was neutral with a slight bias towards the axis powers...

Ireland was very much pro-British neutral - although as it relied on the same supply lines as Britain did for food, this isn't entirely surprising.

The IRA were anti-British rather than pro-German at that point. They just carried on being what they always were, so no real change, there.
