I IanP Didn't quite escape. Dec 7, 2008 #8 Ireland was very much pro-British neutral - although as it relied on the same supply lines as Britain did for food, this isn't entirely surprising. The IRA were anti-British rather than pro-German at that point. They just carried on being what they always were, so no real change, there. Ian P.
