I like biplanes...

My favorite biplane is the Gloster Gladiator. I've had it in FS9 for ages, but darned if I can remember who made it. I usually include all that info in the config, but didn't in this case. It was freeware, though, and probably from either AVSim or FlightSim.

Classic Wings has a Gladiator, though it's not a patch on the Icarus and FSD payware ones for FSX.

Mentioned this in my starter post...great work from Dan Dunn

I love bi-planes and I cannot lie ... an' all you other simmers out there can't deny.

I know, rap and biplanes don't exactly mix, but it's what came to mind when I read the title ...

I haven't seen the FS Addon Gladiator mentioned. Though the Icarus model has more repaints, I've come hands down on the side of the former in terms of detail, flight model, and immersion factor. Not that the Icarus is not a good model - especially if you want skis, it's the way to go.

But the FS Addon Gladiator is must if you like that bird. On the same par as the HH Fury, which I'm glad has been mentioned a couple of times on this thread.

A.W. Siskin, pre-war RAF fighter by Scrubs? It's FS9/FSX but a nice little AC. Would like to see some more skins though.

... and I can't wait for Jan's Stearman for MAAMsim.

Like pilottj mentioned, it's the NAF N3N-3, Roger..

I LOVE biplanes too ! Good fun putting this together. There will be a Wright and Pratt version, wheels and floats, sprayer too.

Hey Biplane lover, will you like to fly a large 3-engined pax/cargo biplane...the Armstrong Whitworth Argosy??

Well, I have built one with a VC for FSX and FS9, but I am still working on textures. Also I could not find any cockpit photos, so I created by own fictional virstual cockpit.

The plane flies well, and after I am done painting her, I will release her as freeware.

N3N!!!! Yessssssssssssssssss!

Going to have to build prewar- NAS San Diego put together for this beauty!!

Thanks Jan!!!:jump::jump::jump:

Thanks for the compliments, guys ! :salute:

Regarding ETA : 'IWBFWIWBF' ( It Will Be Finished When It Will Be Finished )

We want this birdie to come with as many features as FSX will let us apply,i.e. no 'hit Ctrl/E and off you go' or anything like that. And we have more pots on the native FSX stove too..

Cheers,
Jan

The N3N is looking very fine, Jan....

I don't know how I'm gonna 'splain that purchase to Lucy though

Any further along on her these days sir?

That N3N has always caught my attention, Jan. To reiterate, any news is better than no news. As long as it's still simmering. What's cooking?
