Looking for basic GPS gauge

Well... I'm looking for a simple instrument gauge, like this:

I enter longitude and latitude, and the instrument shows me the direction...

It exists for CFS2 (GPS100, and the entered datas are saved) ...Does it exist for FS2004.... :running:

I have not seen such a gauge for FS9.....not that that means it doesn't exist. I just don't have any knowledge of it.

Hi Willy, yes, thank's... Maybe I don't know every function.. but if I want enter, as destination, not an airport, but only a position in latitude and longitude...?
 
The D-> button on the default Garmin will let you enter an airport or VOR, but as far as I know, not direct map coordinates.

I open Google Earth, I localize one place, I keep latitude and longitude, and I go there...
But only with "shift z" ... not very easy... :mixedsmi: ... but possible... as well, good way to learn
orientation as pilot...

this line sent up a flag for me.
back in my cfs1 days,
when flying bomber missions,
i used a gps gauge to direct me
to specific longitude and latitude waypoints.
this is not the gps100, but instead, the cfsgps,
again, by Chuck Dome.
it only shows longitude, latitude, and the distance in NM.
longitude and latitude are adjusted by mouse.

this morning i dug around in my cfs gauges folder and found it,
copy/pasted it into my fs9 gauges folder,
tweaked my panel.cfg and tested it out.
in a word, success.

next, i searched and finally found it at
FlightSim/Files/Search Files/File name CFSGPS.ZIP

btw, i use several old cfs gauges in fs9 with no ill effect.
specifically, Jerry Beckwith's HDG, IAS, RALT, WEP,
a HG elevator trim readout and a HGHB HSI, to name a few.

... Smilo, yes indeed, the CFS GPS... and indeed, it works... and by your indications, I found the data GPS100 of the R.A.F. and north of France... from CFS1...

These days I re-discover the Paul Rebuffat 's Spitfire...
After diverse refinements ( flight dynamics, lights, effects, colors of VC, VC, minipanel, etc..)
they fly perfectly and they still look very beautiful...

from Dan Swart's original artwork...

A great pleasure... nine years after creation by Paul... old soups, but pieces of art...
