Great news, any Harrier for FSX is good news.
Well,,,actually I found and Ex-payware now freeware Harrier from IRIS.
Over at Simviation. Works splendid in FSX (accel) however no thumbnails (made my own)
Sound is spot on and textures are fantastic. IMHO this one will do till something better
comes out. Takes getting use to taking off in VSTOL Mode, F6/F7/F8 keys (flaps) made
the engine rotate downwards and provides lifting thrust. All models are Brit, no us ones.
This is ex payware generously donated as freeware and is not supported by Iris.

Hi Dave,Rob, and chance of the newer system on my Freeware GR7?
Hi Dave,
I'm certainly willing to port my new stuff to other Harrier ( or simular) addons, but not before sept at the earliest.
If only because I lack the time to take on new projects, other then what's allready on my list at present.
Rob
Rob, thanks. My GR7 will be ready way before sept, so If it is ok with you, I will just use my existing harrier files for it, then we can update it with new Vtol files in Sept?

James May has been lucky enough to have flown in all kinds of exotic aircraft ....including the Harrier....
Awsome video Kilo Delta , these planes are still amazing to me. I hear that they do
eat the gas while in that lift/hover mode.
Hi Mattt,Hi Rob
has the VTOL gauges for this new Harrier package been tested with windows 7 and FSX Accel... just curious as havent been able to use any of your superb gauges since I started using a Windows 7 machine as I keep getting a CTD. The last thing i tried was that Thunderbird 2 (and I sure miss the ease of use of your Carrier deck gauges). Hoping this wont be a problem with these Harriers as I'm looking forward to them.

Yes, of course you can use the stuff you already have for the old Harriers.
Problem may be with the new VTOL version, is that it relies on independant nozzle control in the model.
I guess your new model still has nozzles and flaps both still tied to FS-Flaps.
So I have to make adaptations (it will work, just not that good); anyway that has to wait untill after summer.
Rob
Odd. Don't Razbam and a spanish dev group develop a Harrier collaboratively?
jep but I think that dev team doing the mcdonnell douglas built Harrier Navy variant
best regards
Thomas
