Meet the Fokkers!

Great work, Cess!! Just got back from a month in your digs; just beat the bad weather. I have used FSDS since the beginning, so if you need some help (looks like you won't need much) give me a PM.

Best, Paul

Huub asked a long time ago if I would do all three versions. Well, gotta change the textures to 277: Naca ring and three bladed prop. (I'm not quite happy with the prop yet, but as always: a second version will be o.k.)

And thanks for all the nice comments guys!

After posting on a Dutch site I got the remark that the prototype D.XIV was red! Edwin Hoogschagen knows much about Fokkers. So......

Cees, perhaps a notch, but not at the expense of that subtlety. You've really managed to capture the tones of that aviation period.

Love some skins when you have them ready mate. :salute:

This was a one of a kind version. Armstrong Siddeley Panther engine of 590 hp, top speed of 330 kilometers per hour, Naca hood, no guns. 277.

A little update: I redid the prop on the D.XVI The steel Reed prop was turning in the wrong direction. Made the spinner a bit smaller, and changed the angle of the blades. Looks more like the original now.
Made a new propellor for the S.IV as the one I used before was robbed from a Dave Eckert plane! Strugling with the crumple issue here! Obviously the spinner is too detailed. I must learn to deal with that! Redid the landing gear. The angle of the gear was wrong and the legs were too thick. Also added a few wires.

Ad now a Jupiler!:icon29:

Solved the crumpling issue! Wim got me on track. After that it was a small but very good tutorial by Wozza that did it.

Two identical screenies? No! Watch my head!
