I found a repaint of 'Angel of Deliverance' at FlightSim. If you're interested it's in a zip called 'gy_fdes'.
The zip contains 'new and improved' FDE updates for several aircraft.
The C-97 folder contains the entire airplane (Greg Pepper's) with the C-97 model and 4 377 models and 3 panels. I guess you get to take your pick.
A couple of HD crashes ago I had a pretty thick C-97 folder with 3 different YC-97 schemes. Don't remember where they came from, but I remember they were all from the same painter likely in one pack. I'm guessing Angel of Mercy was one of them. Makes me think it must be out there somewhere since the Pepper C-97 is the only one I've ever installed.

Tried the search at Flightsim.com for "Rui Cristina" (the spelling at Flightsim) -- those are FS2002/FS2000 repaints. The file names are "c97g0122.zip" and "c97g012k.zip" and are shown for the original Dave McQueen C-97 model. (YC-97A 45-9595 Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation BAHF).
I also looked over on Avsim (library.avsim.net) and didn't locate Angel of Mercy repaints there.
The Tom Kohler who made the gy_fdes package is "Gnoopey" here at Sim Outhouse -- he did P-47 and B-29/B-50 models here.

Yes, there are a lot of variations of the McQueen and Pepper Stratocruisers out there.
"tgibson" is the webmaster over at Cal Classics (Hi Tom!). It may be worth a look to see if renaming the texture files will work.
Thanks pfflyers -- I saw the thread a day or two ago and couldn't quite recall which C-97 repaints went with which ships -- just the clue I needed to revive those aging brain cells.

The textures in the Tom Kohler package will work on the current C-97 package at CalClassic.
