Iris Silence Twister released

Thanks! I'm waiting for the battery for my new camera (it's my birthday, have a :icon29: on me!) to charge up so there's a new paint job on the way!

German AF modern scheme, based on the Typhoon prototype.

Beautiful bird!
How does it compare to the Christen Eagle either in real life or the Iris version. Just not familiar with this aircraft.
I love to fly the Iris Eagle from tower view with smoke on and do my own little airshow.

the non retractable gear varian reminds me a bit of earlier Reno F1 Pylon racers :)

at the moment it is out of my range (price wise) but I will definately purchase when it is possibly

could repainters paint a racing livery? just want to see how it will look!

best regards
Thomas

Landing Gear issues

I just picked up this little bird and I seem to have an issue with the landing gear. Some times I can get the gear up but then I can't get it down.
Any one else with this issue? All other planes are fine so it seems to be an issue with my Twister.
But I real am enjoying this one.

In general, that sounds like what happens when you raise the gear at too high a speed. Try raising it the moment your plane leaves the ground. That should help with dropping the gear on landing..

I find that i have to always use the gear switch in the vc - pressing key G never works for me - same goes for flaps.

I can get the gear up with the VC switch but not down. And i tried a real slow late try with the vc switch. Stumped.. I'll try the Iris forum.
Thanks

I'm not able to check right now, but I believe you have to right click on the gear switch to lower the gear.

Noddy beat me to the punch!

Some VC's use left click only to cycle positions, some use this left/right click to alternate. The manuals of recent Iris aircraft usually say which convention is used.
