There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

i've been going through the ad2k help filesThe display of the underside of the float when moving above a certain speed is a conditional display feature of the model that can be set in AF99. These conditional displays are used for things like "Landing Gear Down", "Flaps Extended / Retracted" and other such things. There are none for Ailerons, Rudder, Elevator and AF99 / Aircraft Animator use "Tags" to communicate these Pieces to each other as "Speed Below XXX" conditional displays. They can also be used for real "Speed Below" things such as Floats....
I can email you a model I have that shows the way this works, but I don't know if that will really help you considering that this is a AF99 (and SCASM) feature and that isn't what you are using. I understand that AD2000 can also do animation, so perhaps you should look at that.

Hem...Perhaps you can do this as an altitude conditional.
i have seen a few nice ad2k models,Hem...... I see one snag with that idea; what to do when landing at, for instance, Interlaken?
Any MDL file must have a condition for "on the ground" position, if only to have mesh scenery interact with gears and scrape points. The trouble is to find it and, with AD2000, find a way to implement it. Anyone knows of an amphibian made with it so we could examine how it was done?
Happy Thanksgiving to my Americans' friends BTW.
