Not Long Now ...

As soon as we get the Avia projects out the door, I will be back on the Harpoon.

Meanwhile, I would like to see some really nice period pictures of the Harpoon, and especially period pics of the interior and cockpit. Can we find some good resource website or picture collection to help get this project as authentic as possible.

I appreciate your help and look forward to getting back on this.

After some encouragement from others, I am also seriously considering the Ventura as well so feel free to embellish our resource data collection from that side too.

Sweet! I'll be making some room in my hangar for the Harpoon and for the PV1 Ventura as well! The Ventura was a hot ship compared to the Harpoon actually.
 
This is going to be great. Hope there is still a plan for at least one civil version, in particular the Lodestar.

Right now, my thinking is the the Harpoon (2 versions), the Ventura, and the Lodestar. Subject to change. :wiggle:

They would be very useful to the projects of course for authenticity of operational controls and especially for interior reference and flight model development.

LOL Well, from you guys maybe but its right here waiting for me to free up time and desk space.

I can only screw up so much at a time. :wiggle:
 
Well Milton, I can only fly and crash one plane at a time, so I can relate. I did a real nice job of stacking up the Alpha/Virtavia Saab Draken the other day... got a bit to slow with her trying not to damage the hydraulics when lowering the gear. Forgot that the Draken needs at least 225 MPH to stay in the air and I dropped the gear at 200. Suffice to say, the gear wasn't the only thing that dropped.... the plane literally fell out of the sky, only moments after the stall horn went off. Rats!!! :banghead:

I just wanted to keep the thread current, is all. I'm sure there is a bunch of interest, and we'll get to fly the fruits of your work in due time.

Well, with the bulk of the Grumman project completed, and after a short break, I will try to get back here to make some progress. :wiggle:
