The sound package, by their own admission has it's problems because of the type engines used in the Bronco and FSX's ability both to model those via the FDE and the sounds related to them. I noticed a while ago after landing from a long flight that there was virtually no difference in the sound of the engines from full bore to idle. Every once in a while if I adjusted the prop pitch there was a change, but beyond that, very little. I purchased a sound set that Aaron Swindle made for Tim's OV-10 and I'm tempted to swap them out but I don't think it's that simple. If I remember right, they also did some coding to would turn off certain default sounds to allow for a special sound module they included. That may eliminate just being able to swap sound files.Very nice plane! And the update is awesome but ...
it´s just me or the sound package is really odd? The start/shutdown sounds has abrupt changes that do not correspond to reality of any airplane.
. At least I think they're new, can't believe I would've missed em first time around as I'm always jumping outside to admire the view. And, agree the sounds are a little weird but not enough to cancel out all the other great features. This thing is a blast flying in to small strips
.Daaaaaang. . . .400meg? That's a honker of a paint kit, lol![]()
I'm glad you like the new views...I was hoping someone would notice.
