• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

But it´s very hard to run support for a product on serveral forums.

So if anyone has problems with the Bronco it would be much more efficient to report it in the Aersosft Bronco support forum.

We are taking every report, also those caused by not **** serious.

What triggered me a bit was that I in the Aerosoft forum thread, where Flaviossa posted his problem, allready had told that we are working hard on fixing the sound issues only to find him post here that we really should have our attention on it - aren´t we just doing that by both uploading open beta files as well as telling that we have put our beta testers on overtime to find a fix ?

Sometimes it´s really hard to please customers, cause they expect a fix ready 5 mins after reporting a bug.

Nevertheless....
As told elsewhere ... a fix for both the sound issue and the low FPS after changing views, will most probably be released allready today - 1 day after it was reported - I don´t think that many publishers are doing so, and that even on a sunday.

Point taken. I guess my post was out of frustration that I can't get my Bronco in the air. Have uninstalled and installed 3 times, still won't fly. Since only a few of us are having the problem I don't expect a solution. I'll put her in the hangar for now and try again with future releases. I have plenty of planes (many Aerosoft) to keep me busy.

Your frustration is quite understandable - I would feel the same :wavey:. However I am very much convinced that Finn will make your bird "fly" real soon ...

I´m not sure if Your problem is what we call "Low FPS when changing views", but the update I have put together should have a fix for it.
If Your problem is different, please tell in our Bronco support forum and we will take a look on it.

I had hoped to get a go ahead releasing it today, but will have to wait until tomorrrow it seems.

Jo....have you tried the steps I posted earlier?

go to the VC view.....open the checklist and select cold and dark. Once the aircraft has settled down and all is quiet...select the ready for taxi option nd alloow the plane to start. I too had the FPS issue but found following these steps fixed it every time.
 
If he is having the same problem I was then after selecting the Bronco the flight starts and thats it it freezes on the spot and you can't select anything.
Hey Jojo are you running windows 7?
If so make sure to reinstall as administrator.
 
We've had these kinds of discussions many times in the past.

It is always well advised to contact the developer at his own website before airing complaints or problems about a product, especially in a third party forum.

Start the flight in another aircraft, switch to the VC, switch to the OV-10, and then go to views and select checklist and run through the steps I listed. Trust me it works. This is the exact problem I was having. I have found starting in a cold and dark state is best for this aircraft.

Missed your earlier post. Reinstalled and tried. Works okay...finally able to ride this Bronco. Hope the update takes care of this. Thanks, Hawk.
 
Aerosoft Bronco X hotfix (Version 1.11) available here:

Fixes:
-Low FPS when changing views - fixed
-Engine sound issue - fixed
-Gunsight power logic -> powered by Monitored DC bus, only available with at least one generator active or Groundpower connected
-2D pop ups default to 16:9 format (Inorder to change to 4:3 -> delete panel.cfg and rename Panel_4_3.cfg to panel.cfg in all 8 Bronco folders)
