SOH Team Project - Grumman Tracker, Trader, Tracer

Of course the problem always with FS is making adjusts looking down while not able to see the horizon or attitude or VSI gauges.
And I thought I was the only one that had that problem. If I don't put it on altitude hold or at least set the trim for nose up, I usually end up losing 1,000 feet, or worse, plowing into the ground. Looking good, guys.

Beta Results Very Good :)

I have been rather surprised by the very good reports back from the beta tests. Still a couple of enhancements and tweaks to do but I fully intend to release the Grumman series by February 24th end of day.

Of those who received the beta, about 60% chose to test fly and report back. Some thankfully were quite articulate relating their experiences.

Seems that we are "go" for this coming week.

All these parts are mapped generally to the "white1.bmp" texture and cannot be changed at this point.
Many gear parts, antennas, other small parts are also mapped to this texture.

Hello Milton,
My texture is going well, still some loose ends. sorry for the air intake but I can not paint them red without putting on the hinges of flaps and landing gear.
Best Regards

Marty, the progress is outstanding, the curves are beautiful, and the paint scheme is very eye catching. Excellent work! :applause:

Lazerbeak is working on the S2Turbo Military variant textures. It will be the last in a series of releases to start soon. :)

Tom completed the beta version of the flight model some time ago. Scott is working on the turbo panel updates and Nigel has completed the excellent turbo sounds for this package. All in all, this will be a sweet package. :jump:

This sure has come a long way Milton, and I am looking forward to flying these superb models when they are made available. The artwork and detail from the latest batch of screenies looks absolutely stunning. The beer, ouzo, and other enticing spirits are on me, over at Henry's Tavern. (Couldn't forget the ouzo, for Nigel and Matt, our resident Greeks... LOL!) :guinness::icon29:

Thank you BB. :)

Someone early in the project asked about the darkness in the cockpit, my preference as well.

All of the cockpits have this appearance.

Really looking forward for these classic beauties......maybe one in Dutch markings? I remember the Stoef (as we Dutch called them).

Cheers,
Hank

Thank you Hank. The team has outdone itself I think :)

Jan Visser is working on the S2F-1 used heavily by the Dutch so I feel certain that there will be some proper Dutch markings slapped on the surface there somewhere. :jump:

Uh Oh... The download servers are going to be VERY busy!!!
:redfire:
Been checking in on the thread almost daily, and watching with great amazement and anticipation. Grew up hearing and seeing these fly over my house in San Diego. Will definitely be flying these a lot.

Can only say Thank You to Milton and the entire team, and am only sorry I wasn't able to help much in this project, except for being part of the cheering squad from the sidelines.

Thank you very much!:ernae:
downloading as I type (E1b and S2F). Looking forward to a short hop tonight when I get home from work. :icon29:
