Ain't that the truth!Back in my band days we were so tired of singin "Born to be wild" we changed the lyrics. Please note this was in San Diego and you have to know the area to be in the know..
"Get your moped running...
head on out to Poway....
Looking for a WalMart...
There's one on the way"
One of the fun things about playing in a band is changing the lyrics.

Ain't that the truth!
The band I was in years ago knew that song as 'Born to drink mild!'
(For the left-pondians 'mild' is a dark ale available in the UK as opposed to 'bitter' which is the other popular beer. Note, I don't consider 'lager' to be beer as that stuff is just fizzy water!)

Ahh yes, black and tan...yum. Not had one of those in 20+ yearsNow you're talking...I'd give my drinking arm for a pint of mild down here!
Tell 'em about some of the other 'fine arts' such as 'Black and Tan' a fine balance of Bitter or pale ale with a second beer (always a stout) usually Guinness.
Its beautiful to the eye, and even finer on its way down.
Cheers mate![]()
Well I was trying to retain the SOH PG-13 rating.Edit: Larry, you were far more tactful in your reference to lager than I could ever be (P). Lol
