I am seeing my attachments and those of others. Are you missing your attachments? Some? All?

Can you be more specific about what you are experiencing. Do you know of others who are missing attachments?

Anyone who is missing attachments, please post in this thread.

Meanwhile I will raise the issue with the Canelo Kid and Ickie.

Had never tried those paper clip icons until now. Most open a box with the said number of attachments. But two for example, the 2004 General discussion, "Virtavia: More old Alphasim titles..." indicates 5 attachments but only one resides in the opened box, same for one below that "Working on De Vlijt..." indicates 95 attachments but only offers one.

Oh yes Sir, I miss them terribly - dearly...almost like children for me...ALL! (each and every single one). I don't like to show favourtism...makes 'em jealous, you know what kids are like.

Umm; Deep depression, withdrawal symptoms, slight headache and fever, woosiness and irritability.
My arthritis is playing up too and my wife says I look an odd shade of red.

I think Cees desperately misses his too and I heard Duckie can't see anything either.

As per smilo's advice, I'm reporting the lost of all but two attachments in a tutorial that I've made for CFS1;
New ways to have fun with CFS1.

If I was to tell you the amount of time I put in that thread, some would probably say "Go get a life!"

And this is only one thread... when I find the courage, I'll go and have a look at others...
 
What bothers me is the silence that's around what seems to be a bigger issue than we can guess. First there's the library that is 'gone' , then the forums are 'strange' for a couple of days, and now the attachments are 'gone'? As a member of a member owned site I'd like to be informed as to what caused this and how bad the damage is. Make no mistake, I apppreciate the hard work that's put in this site, but would like to have some more information. This thread is now one day old, Nigels thread about the fish is three days old, and still we know nothing and there is very little response to what is brought up here......

i, too, am disappointed by the lack of communication.

i haven't tried it, but, apparently,
new attachments can be added.
does this mean tutorial authors
will need to go back and reattach illustrations?
can't help but wonder if and when that will happen

Yes, Duckie's thread on not seeing attahments was a dated earlier (30th March) and slipped 'silently' to page 3.

To his Credit, Millton responded almost immediately and informed us of reorganization changes.
Cees was also quick on the mark.

I discovered my own loss of attachments quite by accident:

Disaster: There weren't any!

My sympathies are with hubbabubba too, it's no joke spending hours setting up the pics/text for tutorial only to discover the whole show has been detonated.

Ah well, as they say; 'HIT happens.

Humour is one of frustration's most powerful antidotes, and has usually served me well.
 
Also lost mine about a week ago. I only have one that I added when I found out my others were gone.
