Based this one on the awesome JBK Tudor IV; it postulates that Avro Canada took over Lincoln production from Victory Aircraft (later Canadair) and thence could manufacture a "Canadianized" version of the Tudor IV. Due to better performance, the RCAF likely would have purchased this aircraft in lieu of the Canadair North Star. The paint shows Tudor 10 (traditionally Canadian variants of Avro aircraft had mark numbers starting with 10 or 20) serial number 28035 as it appeared in 1958 serving with 412 (T) Squadron.

Basically, I modified the Sky Trader Tudor IV livery included with the aircraft. Lightning stripes are consistent with those on period North Stars. Serials starting with 28XXX were never assigned to RCAF aircraft, so I'm safe there. I also changed the wheel textures to better represent the balloon tires fitted to Lincolns/Tudors (they came from the York) and added logos to the props indicating Hamilton Standard-built items that would be fitted to Canadian-built examples. At a later date I may also do a slightly modified config file with performance improvements due to more powerful Merlins and a revised cockpit with radar to match the radome-equipped nose.
 
De-icing .... Pah who needs that, it's for sissies ;). Just kidding, that will be great. I can't try it out until Friday anyways, since I am stuck in bloody Texas until then.

Thanks muchly. I always liked the Tudor, and thought it'd make a good alternative to the C-54GM.

As to the paint, I have a real soft spot for late-50s RCAF; in fact I have wanted to do an AI package for 1960 RCAF traffic for a long time. Might get around to it one of these days...
