• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Would anyone out there have a good link for Lasse Lindh's "Helicycle"? His website is no longer active and it seems that it was never uploaded anywhere else that I've been able to find.:salute:

Take a look in the 1950's helicopter thread, I just bumped it to first page, as I can't cut / paste on this smartphone.

Thanks Pete, but at least in the case of the Helicycle, clicking on the download link sends me to the now closed website "swedbird.com". So looks like it's no longer available.:salute:
 
i'd love this thing too! i know George Arana (Euroastar350) did some repaints for the thing in the past, wonder if he backed the things up?

Hmm. Didn't think I could attach large files here, but apparently I can.

Helicycle.zip is the original file folder without a sound subfolder to reduce size. (2.3MB)

Helicycle-full.zip is the full aircraft folder zipped. (14.6MB)

I believe these are the original files, no changes, but they are zipped up from my installed version, not the original zip file. I don't think I changed anything. These were backed up in 2007 though, so my memory from 5 years ago is a bit hazy.

If I need to get rid of these from the server (for uploading without permission, for example, let me know and I'll remove them).
