History has shown that his aircraft designs didn't get as much press as his other endeavors, most notably the automobiles...
 
No, this is a Marcel Leyat special. Called the Leyat Biplane or Leyat Volante, not sure exactly. He is of course known for his propeller driven cars.

Wouldn't want to be the unlucky gunner in that basket, mounted it seems only on the propeller axis..

That Ponnier is a much overlooked machine. No entry at aviafrance and nothing on the net that I could find.

The nose is similar to the Thunderjet, so it was quite easy to find; the aircraft on the left side on this photo would have been harder to find..
