The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Lefty is determined to beat this out of us. Okay, a Boeing NB-1 in service at the southern tip of Argentina or some such?

I'm going to award Moses a :icon29: for doggedness - yes it is a Boeing Model 21 (NB-1) in the service of the Peruvian Navy. :peru: (WHY don't they put these wretched flags in alphabetical order ???......:banghead: )

Over to Texas once again. I expect a real horror.

Should have unearthed the Boeing straight away. :kilroy:

This antiquated looking twin a horror...or not?

I think I know what you mean, Ferry - this lady seems awfully familiar, though I've only seen her from behind before......:redf:

(and I'm looking forward to the archives too, by the way !)

I know I had posted this one in the past sometime (over at the WOT maybe?). Sometimes if I have a different photo/angle I like to try to post them again to see if I can sneak 'em past. (Hate to let a rare photo go unused).

Please press on Ferry as I saw in your original unedited message you posted the answer.:icon29:

Thanks Ferry, found the link and downloaded the file. Impressive effort !

Now, I've found the 7Z downloader, once I find out how to view everything it will be wonderful !

I'll second that, Dan. Ferry has put a lot of time and effort into this and it is most generous of him to share it with us. :applause:

Now then, Ferry, which is coming into print first - your book of aviation rarities or the album of your splendid aviation photos ??? :jump:

Thank you gentlemen!
Not a lot of time and effort really, just checking these threads everyday and saving the photos with the right name. And since these are only the photoshopped photos I don't think I will even attempt to make a book.. Imagine having to find info on all 2,000 photos... :isadizzy:

And Moses is of course correct on the Gallaudet A-1, nicknamed the Bullet with it's topspeed of 100 mph..

Some more angles:

Dearie me that's an affront to the eye ! It has what look suspiciously like British markings, but I cannot believe anything so ghastly first saw the light of day in our fair realm..........

What is interesting is that the designer lived until he was 101 years old! Passing away in 1986.
