Error Code #11

Tom, as you read in my original post on January 31 regarding the error code 11 (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?85225-Capt-Sim-C-130) there were no definitive answers given. Several reasonable and good suggestions were offered, some of which worked for some folks, unfortunately none did for me.

There evidently is no Silver Bullet for the CSC130 working in FS9. It's hit or miss, trial and error. I would recommend rereading that thread if you haven't tried the suggestions offered that may apply to your setup.

If you find one that works for you pleas post it here. Personally, I've put mine aside for now.

Good luck,
Steve

I have it installed in Win7 Fs9, no bother.
Just a thought, you have installed the basepack and updates before trying to install the add-ons?
There is a definite order in which things should be added.

Would I have to remove the base pack or update first to install it.

IIRC, you have to install basepack, then variants then update to basepack in that order.
There was instructions on Capt Sim forum.... ---->

hi.
i have win xp myself, but its playing up just now,so dont know how win 7 behaves with the sim.
but it sounds like one of two things.
1) its not been installed correctly,is it just the c130 or do you have any c130 add on packs. if you have add on packs then they have to be installed in the following order:-
1. file csc is the base C130 file
2. file csj is the C130J
3. file cst is the C130T
4. file cs? is the CL130 float version which i dont have
5. file csk is the KC130
6. file csw is the AC130
7. file cse is the C130 extra pack
installing in the wrong order will cause problems as described.
