Vladimir A. Zhyhulskiy - Ilyushin IL-76MD + IL-78M beta 2014

What sounds are you guys using, we used to get quite a few 76's flying into Manston in Kent back in the 1990's and they were Loud, seriously loud. At the moment im using the sound-set from the Alphasim B-47, works for me but i'd be intrested in other options,
cheers ian
There's few soundpacks for Il-76 at Russian Avsim

Alternate prop disc for anushka

Thank you for the HU !
Magnificent AN-2 ...
BTW .. nobody have a better prop rendition for the AN-2 ?

Navtech:
I took the prop disc from AF Scrub's Seafire Mk XV. Afraid I did not do the courtesy of asking permission. Apologies AF.

Unfortunately, a lot of noise in the cockpit !
Conversely, extremely quieter engine

:dizzy:

The Il-76 is a NOISY bird, according to all accounts that I have read. I agree that the sounds are a bit light in the spot view and noisy in the cockpit, but if you are handy with sound configs, you can tweak that to your liking. To me, the "wind up" sounds produced by moving the throttles forward in the spot view are very realistic, and produce a superb jet whine. Just a matter of taste, I reckon.
