I've found this model by J R Lucariny which has no copyright restrictions so I think I'll forget the Ito one and go with this instead.
There's no VC so will have to make that from scratch. It'll take a bit longer but at least my conscience will be clear!![]()
I've been dreaming about flying one of those ever since I built my first Whirlwind model kit (an Airfix 1/72 kit, if I'm not very much mistaken) way back in 1971! Please, please keep me posted on any new developments!

...except for the tigers radial engines, square wing tips and nose guns, think they look somewhat similar.
Because of other commitments, lack of interest etc.my work on this has stopped BUT one of our much more talented modellers is going to be making a brand new one! Can't say when or who at the moment but going on his previous work it will be a masterpiece
