AlphaSims PBY Paint Kit

Mick

SOH-CM-2025
After a couple years of inactivity I'm checking out some things I downloaded and stashed for future reference. I just recently checked out the AlphaSims PBY Catalina, a nifty plane that spans the two periods of aviation that interest me most, the Golden Age and the Classic Era. (Not to mention its participation in WW2 in between!)

I could swear that I read somewhere some mention of a paint kit, but there wasn't one included in my download, and now I can't find anything about it . Does anyone know where I might find the paint kit, or if one really exists? I got my PBY after it became freeware, so I wonder if maybe the paint kit only went to purchasers of the payware release...? Or maybe it's just wishful thinking...

Does anyone know anything about a PBY paint kit?

It's on the freeware page under (Paint Kits)

Thanks Joe! :ernaehrung004:

You've got better eyes than me! I looked there before I posted but I didn't see it.

I didn't see it right away this time, either. I was looking for a "PBY" paint kit and my eyes kept skimming right over the "Catalina" paint kit.

Go it now tho'

Alas, it doesn't provide for the flying boat, which is what I've been fiddling with. Maybe that's just as well, since I'd be annoyed if I'd suddenly found a quicker and easier way to do things I've already done. But I have a few ideas for the amphibian too, so the paint kit should see some use.
