Hello!
I realise the name of the topic sounds dumb, but I am interested to see your opinions on which classic non-glass airliner is the most realistic to FSX? My favorite aircraft is the Tupolev 154B-2, no doubt. But I am severely limited by it's range and hence can't fly very far without making fuel stops all over the world.
I'm aware of captain sim 707, great airliner indeed but a bit hard on FPS not to mention it's texturing is very jaggy even with AA supersampling (due to their extreme resolution I guess) and while the captain sim 727 is good and might be my choice I want to hear some more opinions first.
Preferably airliners built ranging 1940-1985. Just flight DC-8 sounds interesting, is it good? My only concern with that model is the texturing which isn't too photorealistic and way too clean for a plane of it's age.
