I have PFC Sim hardware installed and the gear switch on it was in the down position. I was so intent on working the gear from inside the cockpit I totally forgot about it at the time. It works perfectly using the hardware switch. Your comment about the switch needing to be toggled turned my brain back on.

We are about to upload a second and important upgrade. This one has the following:





Additional models without bombs or gun camera on the top wing (VC included)


Auxilliary and Reserve tanks added.


Additional navigation gear (below centre sub panel) , VOR (switchable Nav/ADF needle),RMI with OBS knob and ADF tuner optionally selected via a knob in the cockpit.


Stick is hidden when the optional navigation gear is toggled.


Stock GPS added for those who want one.


Texture glitch in right side rear of fuselage mended.


Gap in floor when head in seat pan, closed.


Small change in default height to Landing camera view.








The upgrade will be available at the AH site as soon as we have it uploaded (existing owners will be notified by email) and vendor sites as soon as they tell us.


Don't forget that the F3F-2 is now also available from the Just Flight site. :engel016:

Thanks Bazzar. That's good news. I always prefer to add ordnance if I want it rather than remove it if I don't.
 
Any ideas after the Barrel and Devon?

Maybe next airplanes missing by developers for FSX/P3D? Navy still?

Helldiver, Kingfisher or Devastator? : )

Can this upgrade be installed over the current version or will I have to uninstall the version I have now.
As I remember, the last upgrade was a complete install which had fixes and whatnots in it. Just was to make sure.


As I type this I see I have the AH email with the fixes - gotta check this out.

Downloading AH_grumman_f3f_2_V1_2.zip as I type this.

Now I hope that this will install over my current version.
 
Usual advice, back up anything you have added like skins just in case. This is a complete install.:engel016:
 
Got version 1.2 installed.

It appears that the addon repaints are not compatible with the nobomb model. When I changed the model for the Gulfhawk to the nobomb model, the wings were black (no texture).

Can anyone confirm this??
 
The wings on the nobomb models use a texture called AH_F3F_WingsB_t. To make the wings appear on the Gulfhawk texture, for example, you need to copy the wings texture tile and paste, renaming it adding the suffix B.

The no bomb wings have the shadows removed for the gun camera and bomb gear.

In fact anybody repainting needs to bear this in mind.:engel016:
 
Yoyo, check out Piglet's stuff, I'm pretty sure he did the Kingfisher FSX Native. I would love AH to consider a Whale Humper C46 lol.

Aha... Now you tell me... I needed a complete uninstall/reinstall anyways. LOL :biggrin-new:

The Gulfhawk looks beautiful now.
